Ms. Russell joined the Company in April 2026 as Executive Vice President, Refining. In this role, she leads the Company’s refining operations, with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and the strategic growth of the refining system. Ms. Russell brings nearly three decades of global energy industry experience, having held significant leadership roles at bp and ExxonMobil. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of bp Solutions, where she led a centralized organization focused on addressing critical risks and opportunities across refining, terminals, pipelines, and bp’s upstream assets. Previously, she served for more than five years as Senior Vice President of Refining, Terminals, and Pipelines at bp, where she helped shape downstream operations and strategy across the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. She began her career as a Process Engineer with ExxonMobil in 1996, holding roles across engineering, strategy, and operations. Ms. Russell has served on several boards, including bp Products North America, bp America, and the Shell & bp South Africa Petroleum Refineries Board. Ms. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
